Best Electric Beginner Guitar

The Fender Squire Bullet Stratocaster is a truly great beginner electric. It has a super slick action and the three pickups combine and mix well with the 3 body mounted way switch.

Sound capability is of course dependent on the addition of an amplifier and we have picked out a couple of great Combo’s which we have found perform well with this guitar.

A word of warning: Try and avoid Guitar and Amp bundles. In our experience the Amplifiers in these packages rarely deliver value for money.

The Marshall MG series Amplifiers have gone a long way to finally breaking the Stigma attached to transistor Amplifiers.

Today many icons in the world of lead guitar have been won over by the new breed of Amplification and converted to solid state.

Lets be quite clear here. The MG series cannot fully emulate the monster valve effect, no way. But it has moved the goal posts a damned site nearer, and you do not pay a fortune to get it.
